If you could create a symbol for the main character in your IRB, what would it be and why?  Be sure to include specific examples from your book to support your choice. (Make the statement, proper nouns or numbers, and conclusion a different color.)

There are conglamerate symbols in my IRB but i am only explaining one of them. A womans mom is in the hospital and she gets a babysitter for her little girl,Kendra, and Kendra's stuffed cat,Tubby. The babysitter,Amy, puts Kendra down for a nap and she layed down and fell asleep herseft.Amy woke up and Kendra was gone but Tubby was in a bush in the front yard. Kendra is a little girl so she doesnt have alot of things to care for but Tubby is something she wouldn't leave behinwouldn't leave behind.

The literature im reading has a graet affect on me. After reading that story i know to be more safe. In the story Matt and his sister Bonnie got kidnapped by Matt's Dad and he has a gun. In the end matt throws the base ball to save his sister and now i am glad i have brothers and sisters. It shows me to be greatful for what i have. Also the book shows me not to just sit around, live life in the moment not in the past.

Peg Kehret shows her attitudes and beliefs in her storys. Peg is very protective of animals and she shows it in her storys.            How does the setting affect the meaning of the story?

In the story "the ghost grave" the setting effects the meaning of the story. The setting in my IRB effects the meaning of the story when Josh goes into the forest .In my IRB the setting isn't major, its a small city where everyone knows each other. My story can be located in many diffrent  places. It only rains a couple times but that happens in alot of place. It would make sense for my story to take place in highland because Highland is a small town.

Describe the authors tone and how it effects the setting. Use details from your IRB to explain your answer.

In my IRB the authors tone effects the setting. Peg Kehret is releived/scared in this part of my IRB which make the setting change. In my story the main character Josh is releived/scared. He is relieved that he didn't get caught when he was moving Wille's leg bones and scared because his Aunt Ethel broke her ancle and he might have to stay by himself in his Aunt's house. Also he still has the box he found in Wille's leg bone grave.Josh is unshure of what is inside but he is pretty shure its money. He hasn't fully opened it yet but has it opened enough to get a glimpse of whats inside and all he could see was a figure that looked like money.

How does the setting effect the mood in your irb? Use details from your story.

The setting effects the mood in the book "the ghost grave". The mood in the story is causious because Josh doesn't want to get caught moving Wille's leg bones. Wille is a coal miner that died over 100 years ago in an explosion and he needed josh to bury his leg bones with the rest of his body.Peg Kehret makes the books mood change throughout the story which makes me want to keep reading. Peg Kehret gives details that make you feel like your at that same setting and mood. The mood is anxious at this piont in my IRB because he is digging up Willie's leg bones and finds a mysterious box with money inside.

What is the main character's motivation? Be shure to include spesific details  from your IRB.
The main character has a motivation for something. The main charatcer, josh, his motavation is that his Great Aunt Ethel is kind of ineresting in some ways. Josh's Great Aunt beleives that  Aunt Believes that her sister "Florence"died in Febuary and came back as a peacock becuase her sister told her she would. Josh doesn't want to stay at his aunts house, he wants to be at home playing baseball meeting other kids and making freinds. At one point Josh is okay with staying at his Aunts becuase she isn't as horrible as he thought.

What is the conflict in your IRB, use details from your story to explain your answer.

There are a couple diffrent conflicts in my IRB so far. It is raining outside where the party is going to be. A girl named Teagan Phillips is turning 16 today. Its her sweet 16 party and she isn't to happy weather. Also Miss Natsui didn't tell Teagon that it was supposed to rain, so she is really mad. It is supposed to be the sweet 16 party that ends sweet 16 parties.
